Morning Coffee

I officially don't count my day started until the first drop of coffee hits my lips. I have enjoyed this vice since my 8 am physiology class sophomore of college. It took a lot of coffee to tolerate a three hour lecture with a professor that did not believe in modern technology, aka PowerPoint.

As I have "grown-up," I savor my morning coffee. It was the hardest thing to give up during pregnancy (sushi being a close second), and it quickly made a reappearance in the second trimester in moderation. That may be the reason my 13 month old son is obsessed with coffee. He has come accustomed to dipping his paci in my mug, thanks to a lesson by his Mimi.
I now love that we share this morning treat. Obviously he only get drops of the yummy goodness, but that's all it takes!! The simple pleasures...

I have a video of him doing this, but it won't load. Therefore here is a pic of him placing his truck on my cup for safe keeping.
