New life... for all of us :)

Hello all, aka my two followers :) It has been a long time! A lot has gone down since last post. The most obvious would be the birth of our first child, Baker Clyde Blystone. He blessed us with his appearance on Saturday, October 1st at 15:01. He weighed 8lbs and was 20 1/4 inches long. Our lives are forever changed for the better. Now, for some photos...
Things I learned from almost four weeks of motherhood:
1. I will never just get up and be out the door in thirty minutes, again. Currently, it takes at least two hours to get all of us ready, fed, changed, pumped, and packed.
2. The little things, such as cooking, cleaning, or responding to phone calls, might not get done.
3. Your baby will change everyday. I mean, everyday!
4. You will be exhausted, but you don't mind as much as you thought you would.
5. I have NO idea what I am doing. Bothered me the first two weeks, then I got over it :)

I did realize the need for some type of routine. This ensures more sleep and less stress. Once we got the clearance from the pediatrician to let Baker sleep at night, I wanted to maximize sleep for us all. Since Jake is going to work, I let him sleep at night as long as he does the 5-6 am feeding/change. Baker has cooperated so far, only waking at 10pm, 2 am, and around 530am = really only waking up once!! Love him! He definitely got my love of sleep!

Next on the list, a routine for chores and errands. Taking all suggestions... Hiring a maid is out of the question, for now :)
